The Brief
For Star Trek Fleet Command we worked closely with Scopely to produce a live action trailer for their new mobile game.
The film is called... The Call. It's about three people who have fallen into the grind of the 9-5 hustle. They seem to be missing something in their lives until their routines are suddenly interrupted by Star Trek commanders who beam down to Earth to recruit them to Star Fleet.
The Creative
The biggest challenge of the film was making sure all of the Star Trek costumes and props looked authentic. We had to scour the country to find individual accessories and separate pieces of costumes to assemble accurate Star Trek costumes.
One thing we’re really proud of is the amount of easter eggs we hid throughout the film. It took a lot of extra planning from the team to design the set dressing to incorporate all of these small details that the vast majority of people won't even notice. But it will be worth it for the people that do notice, because it will surely leave an impression on them.
